An individual who always preferred the natural world to the company of machines, Sybil didn't stay in the Shifting Expanse for long. She considered herself an outcast from the start, and once she reached adulthood she was quick to leave home and head north towards the Viridian Labyrinth, where she studied the wildlife around it in hopes of creating a paradise for not only herself, but any of those who thought to visit her little patch of land. Despite her efforts, however, Sybil found herself unable to keep up with dragons born and raised in the labyrinth, and their creations soon overtook her own and forced her out of the garden she had attempted to build. Unable to work with such rapid, chaotic growth, Sybil set out on a journey to find a home where she would finally be able to maintain an unchanging, beautiful environment, one without the focus on growth that Nature-born Pearlcatchers seemed to have.

It was the wind that carried her again, though she found herself flying southwest this time. When she stumbled upon the Windswept Plateau, Sybil soon found herself among sprawling plains and vibrant sunlight, something she had never seen. The deserts she had been born in were always too barren, but the jungles she had tried to take shelter in lacked any sense of order. Finally, Sybil thought, she was home.

Exhausted by her journey, Sybil traveled across the plateau in hopes of finding a clan willing to take her in. It took her days of foraging for herself, sustaining off whatever she could find, before she tread upon a Guardian's territory. The small clan had been surrounded by cliffs topped with lush greenery, but there hadn't been a single individual keeping the local plants in order. When the Guardian who owned such territory approached Sybil, she asked what the Pearlcatcher's purpose was on the steppes, especially considering that she was a lightning-born dragon.

Sybil replied that she wished to build a garden. The Guardian introduced herself as Regalia. She spoke of the clifftops, a previous attempt to establish a beautiful garden and create something to shake off the clan's rugged reputation. Seeing her opportunity to settle, Sybil made a promise to the one she now answers to:

"I will make this garden unimaginably beautiful. The world will speak of its wonders, and our clan's shining light will be cast upon the Zephyr Steppes. No longer will Notus Silver be remembered as merely fighters; we shall be known for our splendor and rich lifestyles, and this garden will be proof."

Regalia let out a booming chuckle, craning her head down to touch her nose to Sybil's in greeting. "Then show me."
