History:
Early Days
^As a hatchling growing up in the Arcane territory, Asenath was fascinated with stars and astronomy. Along with being taught by her parents, she made up her own constellations in the night sky, even keeping a record of them in a journal she kept. But soon, she grew restless, and as she grew older, so did her hunger for skies not belonging to Arcane. And so began her journey.
Life with Caddoc
^She traveled. . . and traveled. . . and traveled some more. Finally, she arrived to a clan in the Viridian Labyrinth. There, she was met by a Wildclaw of blue, who introduced himself as Caddoc. The two became fast friends and, soon, mates. They bore a couple of nests, resulting in 6 beautiful hatchlings. Asenath taught them about astrology, astronomy, the stars, and faraway lands.
Of Exaltion and Separation
^A long time after their hatchlings had grown up into mature dragons - some of them already taking to the skies and finding new homes - Asenath noticed something with Caddoc. He seemed more distant and had a troubled look within those icy eyes of his. Asenath asked him about it. He told her that he needed to do something. He felt the need to retire from clan life and join and serve the Gladekeeper. Asenath was shocked by the news, but kindly dipped her head in understanding: it was his choice. He touched noses with her and told Asenath that he would see her again in due time. They spent the rest of their last few days together before he took the journey to The Behemoth
^After this event, Asenath could only be comforted by the company of her remaining children. One by one, though, having been inspired by chldhood stories, each of them left to pursue new adventure. It was soon just Asenath and Specious, her daughter.
A return to exploration
^After spending months more in the clan of the Viridian Forest, Asenath began to feel the pull back into adventure. She and Specious soon bid farewell to their Clanmates, and pursued the stars. They traveled territory to territory, meeting new dragons and clans of varying shapes and sizes, including the Pendulum Clan (roselapis' clan) within Light's territory. As they spent nights together under the stars in these new territories, they kept notes of what they saw in the night sky, recording and sketching out stars and maps.
A return to Nature
^Although her mind kept sharp, time moved foreward, and Asenath and her daughter grew older. They had to make shorter flights and spend more time within the clans they visited. Eventually, they made their way back to a clan within their old home: the Viridian Labyrinth. Here, they met a dragon named PaleDawn, who invited them to stay however long they needed to. The two soon found out that not too far away from the center of the clan, stood a huge and tall rock that jutted out of the ground. From atop the rock (and nearby trees), one got a perfect view of the night sky. Seeing that time had caught up with her, Asenath decided that this would be their final destination of travel. Now, she is the preferred story-teller of the hatchlings within the clan, and can be found most of the time watching the stars or casting long glances to the Behemoth.
