Biography
••His entrance into the clan is a vague memory for the majority of the clan, if they even remember much of it at all, and that is something of which seems to sum up how it is with him and them. While the clan consists overall of dragons open to converse and mingle, Dabi is normally one of the very few to be found off to the side, keeping mostly to himself and his mate. He can be found around Tomura and Toga at times, but other than those select three others, he doesn't seem to aim to stand out or get too close to others. ••With such a reserved nature, it was difficult for clan members to try to assist him in acclimating to the clan, let alone for them to become comfortable around him. Despite this, however, Dabi seemed to learn his way around rather smoothly, with some time spent simply wandering the lair and having this dragon or that doing or saying something to tip him off as to where he was. The manner of which he went about it all was more elusive than expected, leaving the clan unsure of whether or not there may be a role within the clan for him, or if perhaps he would be better off remaining as one of the many members without an assigned role, unlike his courier mate. ••Despite all of his mysterious mannerisms, there are three things about him that everyone within the clan has learned. ••The first learned was his odd favoring of fire. Despite being born of an egg originating from Stormcatcher's lands, Dabi seems to be rather comfortable, and happy, to put the blue wisps always following him to rather fiery, and sometimes threatening, use. The same goes for the eerie blue smoke emitting from his hands, something Dabi has proven to be capable of turning into flames. If he warns to do something "or get burned," it's a threat known to be followed through with every failure to listen. ••The second learned was Dabi's highly-reserved nature when it comes to himself. While Keigo seems to be capable of comfortable conversation with Dabi, even Tomura has found certain topics about Dabi himself to be fruitless, as he refuses to divulge more than what he himself deems "necessary" to most. ••The third learned was just how much he values his mate. Pearlcatcher members of the clan have even likened his attitude about the other Skydancer to theirs regarding their pearls. There have been moments when he has almost seemed to take offense to Keigo assisting another clan member with grooming, at least until the jovial Skydancer has given this favor to Dabi, and days when he was clearly reluctant to allow his mate to perform his role as the clan courier. ••Despite it all, once Dabi is comfortable around another dragon, he has proven himself to have a decent sense of humor, even if dark at times, and can make for a trustworthy ally, so long as he sees a point in the effort. It can be like pulling scales with him when it comes to talking about himself, but he'll listen to what others say with a silence that can be taken as respectful or perhaps simply attentive. Like his mate, he has proven himself well-knowledged, but prefers simply to watch others interact with the hatchlings over directly doing so himself. ••Unlike his mate, grooming doesn't seem to be of much concern to Dabi, especially not doing so for other dragons. He'll keep himself in decent shape, but the more particular grooming for him is left to his mate. It only catches his attention when Keigo's doing it, with a clear disliking for Keigo grooming anyone else, let alone any other dragon offering to groom the bright Skydancer who isn't Dabi, an action made clear as forbidden. While some may see this as overly possessive behavior, others have come to understand that Dabi may actually see grooming as a more intimate activity, especially since Keigo always makes sure to give him his most "precise" grooming, and especially when Dabi seems to be acting especially evasive of others that day.
