Calavera is a kind-hearted, intelligent tundra boy who happens to have been born happened to be born with an extra gene. He doesn’t learn like many others and is far more comfortable with a simple routine. He was picked on as a hatchling and by (name) most of all. It didn’t seem to bother him, however, and the pranks escalated.
Calavera, from the moment he saw her, knew he would love Genoveva the rest of his life. As he grew older his parents encouraged him to talk to the Spiral, despite the fact he was a common dragon and she as the heir to the throne. They became fast friends, however, (Name) wasn’t happy that a ‘freak’ was stealing the dragon he’d been promised. Luring Calavera out to the ocean under the guise of friendship, he told the tundra of a treasure on an island not far from their shore. Calavera wanted to present that treasure to Genoveva, so he began to swim far past the shore. About half way to the island the current pulled him under, and he couldn’t break free. The next thing he saw was Genoveva holding him close with tears streaming down her face. They decided to get back at (name) by continuing together and retrieving the treasure but when they returned, Calavera would take all the credit.
Calavera and his mate left their clan to be together and live a simple life. With Genoveva’s help, they run the general goods store. He loves keeping the stock full and well organized. In his free time, he enjoys playing with the hatchlings and painting colourful intricate designs on any dragon who allows him. This service is in high demand during the festivals that occur at various times around the year.
