The last of his lineage, Sulfate was desperate to preserve his family's legacy. However, it soon appeared the mirror could not bare children of his own. One of his lair mates, the alchemist Lucrezia soon took full advantage of his desperation. She offered him, in exchange for his services as an assistant, his own children. He accepted the deal, running errands for the spiral for years until her experiments could complete. When they did, Sulfate had 3 children, all made from clay and alchemy. Of the three, only one survived: his cherished daughter, Ferro.
After Ferro exposed her 'parents' deeds to the world, Eris saved them and brought them to her lair to keep a better eye on the family. Sulfate secretly appreciates the move, as he no longer needs to quest for items. Instead, he can simply steal them from the clan's hoard. Ferro has long caught on to his schemes, but leaves him be.
