Cedar

Dragon version of my baby boi Cedarpelt (very heavily an AU version tho)

Lore notes:

- youngest (last to hatch) of the only hatchlings of a dragon named Birch (his siblings: Hazel and Twig)

- originally trained as a warrior, as his mother was a warrior (father's identity is unknown)

- trained by a senior warrior named Cicatrix, who believes that magic is useless and that a dragon can only make their way in the world through violence

- somehow, these beliefs never transferred onto Cedar; he hates violence and loathes even just sparring with his clanmates

- was held back from becoming a full warrior and constantly put down for his anxiety and dislike for fighting (by Cicatrix, of course)

- finally made a full warrior a whole moon cycle after his close friends, so there was a definite disconnect between them despite the close comradery they'd shared as apprentices

- his siblings were delighted and took him on a patrol of the territory the day after he was made a warrior, as a celebration; on this trip, Hazel was killed

- Twig stopped speaking to Cedar after that

- Cicatrix attacked Cedar's closest friends in broad daylight, almost mortally wounding several of them and leaving Cedar with deep, painful gashes in his cheek that make it hurt to smile

- after he was killed by the healer, Cicatrix's ghost began haunting Cedar's nightmares, leading to him developing severe insomnia

- eventually, Cedar left his birth clan, becoming a lone wanderer. He was taken in by Rory and, though he doesn't have a defined role yet, makes himself as useful as he can by helping wherever he can--he tries to help everyone, and refuses to talk about himself or his past.
