THE ADULTERER
'Dragons never change,' or so Eliphaz once thought.
His reputation had long begun to precede him by the time his daughter Gethsemane was born. He was a sleaze; a player if there ever was one. Everyone knew it. What sense was there in denying it?

'You'll never change!' said Sixpence the day she'd caught him with another dragoness. He'd figured then that she was right. And truthfully, he had no desire to change. Why devote himself to one when he could have many? In his experience, there was never a dragoness he couldn't seduce; they all seemed to revel in his attention.

...Then came Virtue.

What does one do with a dragon named Virtue? Flirting–hopefully– does not come to mind. Nonetheless, that did not stop Eliphaz from trying. And try he did. But she put a spell on him; he's sure of it now, and he means it quite literally.

From the moment he spoke to her, he has never been able to look at another dragoness the way he looks at Virtue– even when he would very much like to!
