THE LIBRARIAN
From her earliest days, Gethsemane has always had a hunger for knowledge. While the other hatchlings played to their hearts' content, she could always be found in the depths of the Oasis Rock among caverns lined with ancient tomes, hoping to learn all that she could of Sornieth, the gods, her homeland, and- well, everything.

If not for Gethsemane, the clan's library would just be piles of dusty books collected by Zemorah and the others. As a teenager, she devised a system to organize the tomes, and enlisted the help of the clan's carpenter to build rows upon rows of book cases. She is the self-ascribed Librarian of the clan, and takes great pride in her work and what she does, much to the consternation of her parents.

Her relationship with her parents is somewhat strained, for they have never been able to understand her affinity for knowledge and the unknown; they couldn't stand being alone to ponder such things for more than a minute, let alone a life time. She no longer talks to her mother-- not after realizing what a shady business it was that her mother ran. She also doesn't get along with her father very well. He came to her defense when she admonished Sixpence for her fraudulent practices, but it had already become apparent to her that Eliphaz was something of a Sleaze himself.

Functionally estranged from her family, she's found more of a connection within her small group of friends. Cicero and Faust are her dearest confidants-- She regards Cicero as a father-figure, in fact.

She would do anything for Faust; she loves him so well, despite his bewitched mane. She is constantly doing research to try to resolve the curse set upon him. While the two remain friends, she admits in private that she would take him as her lover in a heartbeat. As far as it seems, her love is unrequited.
