Once a hedgewitch wandered through the woods of Sornieth, seeking herbs for her garden and potions. She wandered and wandered until she could not find home, and then until she lost what home was. The witch wandered into the strangest parts of the Arcanist's realm, and was warped by the beautiful magic she found within their depths. When she left, she was not the same. Magic danced across her scales and rippled within her wings. No longer was she a simple potion-maker.

Ellie has never quite been the same after her encounters with ancient, strange magic. She settled in the Nebula Woods because her odd behaviour and galactic appearance made others suspicious of her. Bloodsea found her incredibly charming - so much so that Ellie became her consort. Ellie is quite happy with this, and has even joined the clan guard so that she has a chance to use her powerful magic.

The nature of Ellie's galactic transformation is of great interest to the witches and scientists of the Twisted Spire. It seems to have some link to the Anomaly above them, but the nature of it is still unclear, and Ellie isn't always the most cooperative test subject. Ciella has taken some interest in her, but she's not aware of this.
