he writes political philosophy as a pastime. although his personal outlook is bleak, his treatises are optimistic and motivational for his downtrodden readers. it gives him a sense of purpose in an otherwise desolate, destroyed place. social revolution is a misplaced and broadly unpopular topic given its disastrous effects on his failed country, but it itches in his crowds of better-suited insurgents.

nefertari technically owns his soul. it's a long story featuring a convoluted contract with a questionable signature.
