A feisty young Dragon, Prince Barbaric is the First-Hatched child of King Savage and Queen Bowthorpe, followed by his sister, Princess Autumn, and his brother, Prince Dusty.

A complete Daddy's boy, he spends a lot of time with King Savage, learning how to hunt to feed the meat-eaters of his Clan. When not with his father, Barbaric is usually found with Zapper, who he sees as a great inspiration as he provides for the bug- and fish-eaters.

As the Royal’s firstborn, he is next in line to rule if anything should happen to them. This worries the Clan’s other members, as they consider Barbaric a rather reckless Dragons, and many of them believe him to be unfit to rule.

Barbaric doesn’t care what other Dragons think. He’s adamant that, if he were to rule, he’d be the best King any Clan ever had. He likes to remind other dragons of this fact, loudly, whenever he doesn’t get his own way.

When the Clan can afford it, Savage will buy himself a new set of armor, and pass his iron set down to Barbaric. Then, he will begin his training to become a Knight of the Clan, to protect his Lairmates.

Barbaric's mate is Mackenzie, a prissy Mirror girl he saved from a horde of rabid Umbra Wolves. The two have triplet sons; Nicolas, Patina, and Cavity.
