Savage

The Progenitor I designed, and a member of the Original 12; my very first Mirror Dragon!

Savage carved the den of our Clan into the side of a mountain, paving the way to a prosperous future. As the first Dragon, he declared himself the King, donning a dented set of armour in which he could defend his future Clan.

He met his mate, Bowthorpe, shortly after finishing up construction of the lair. She was a wealthy wanderer, no Clan or home to call her own. Impressed by Savage's lair-making skills, she asked if he'd be willing to make her a similar home. Instead, he invited her to live with him, explaining that he was eager to begin a Clan of his own.

His enthusiasm convinced her, and soon the pair had three hatchlings to call their own: Barbaric, Autumn and Dusty.

Contrary to his name, Savage is an incredibly kind and cheerful dragon, though he is skilled in battling. Unfortunately, he is also very concerned about his leadership. The ever-shifting nature of "wild" Mirror packs means that he constantly fears someone else will try and take his throne. As such, even the slightest implication that someone is unhappy with his rule will set him off, desperately seeking out his perceived opponent.

Luckily, one of the Original 12, Savage and Bowthorpe's oldest and most trusted friends, is often nearby to calm him, reassuring him that no one is going to take his place.
