Biography
__._ |
Stories and fairytales always fascinated Everett. As a young hatchling, he wished to one day go on a grand adventure, like some of the stories he read. But his parents worked hard to discourage such fantasies. His future would never be anything like those stories. They were, after all, make believe. He was a simple dragon, with a simple family, living in a simple clan. He should just settle for that. But young Everett refused. And that stubborn refusal drove him to his new life. His whole life was filled with exploration and wonder, until he found a permanent home within The Radiant Thunder. And though it wasn't a fairytale, it seemed as close as he would be able to get. He takes great pride in both his accomplishments and his position within his clan. He is always ready to help Queen Marhena however he can, and tends to take it upon himself to help any new residents of the clan get settled. He is an incredibly intelligent dragon, both from absorbing knowledge from his travels and from the mountains of literature he has read. He speaks eloquently, often referencing works that few dragons have even heard of, let alone read. He becomes fascinated with something very easily, whether it be a dragon he has never met or an interesting story he hadn't heard. He will spend hours, or even days, learning as much as he can about a new subject. For this reason, he also enjoys watching the plays that Hutaro and the other performers put on. He finds them enchanting. They can tell such beautiful stories through song and dance. An exceedingly friendly dragon, he is very extroverted by nature, and is happy to talk to just about any dragon he meets. Especially if they have a story to tell him. Born in a small clan within The Tangled Woods, Everett always had a desire for knowledge. The moment he had the chance, he set off to explore every inch of his home territory, documenting everything he saw and experienced, every creature he met, anything he could think of. Eventually, the Skydancer grew bored, and found himself drawn to somewhere, quite literally, brighter. Not long after arriving within The Sunbeam Ruins, he came upon the small clan of The Radiant Thunder. He was fascinated by them, and their story, drawn to their experience and journey to the land of Light. Despite his interest in them, it took him quite some time to settle on his decision to stay. But when he did, he introduced the idea of the Council system, soon taking his own place on the Council at Marhena's request. Everett does his best to try and be friends with every dragon he meets. He believes that each dragon has their own unique experience that they can share with him, and he wants to hear about each and every one. One of his best friends is Hotaru, which is only natural considering how much Everett enjoys her performances. She can convey such beautiful stories through body language and her voice, and it's mystifying for him to watch. His other best friend is Mai, who is just as fascinated with works of literature as he is. He is rather close with Marhena and Zeno, and he continues to spend quite a bit of time with them, professionally and personally. He is endlessly devoted to his partner, their bond first formed around their shared love of writing. Despite Amaia constantly frustrated by his disorganized style of writing and note taking. Their two sons are Everett's pride and joy, and he is often bragging about the various accomplishments of his family. | ___ |
