Softest was born in a Plague lair, and for a Ridgeback, she was born severely undersized with small, dull ridges instead of the massive spikes of her normal kind. Abandoned by her parents for being so small and weak, Softest was forced to try and survive on her own, never learning to speak, read, or write until she was found by Kami, out chasing mutant bugs in the desolate boneyard. Taken in by the concerned Tundra, she was lead to the Amitola clan's doorstep shortly afterward, and has lived there since, defying her runtly origins and growing up to be the very largest Ridgeback in the lair!

Softest's sweet name and very soft and gentle appearance for a Ridgeback begets a rough n' tumble warrior, hardened by her lonely childhood. She's still very lanky and skinny and her muscle strength isn't very good, due to her unfortunate undernourished birth, but she's working on it. Deep down in her core, she is pretty sweet (even if she definitely doesn't look the part), and usually doesn't get into altercations when they're not necessary. But sometimes, you just gotta punch something, yaknow?

Softest doesn't really have a "role" per se; she's just kind of there most of the time, doodling or chatting with other dragons- or playing pranks on Ciivaesin. Her sheer size can be useful as a sort of "backup guard" for Colossus and Petrichor, though. She's distanced herself a little bit from Kami ever since he developed his mysterious runes, but they still share something of a relationship.
