Biography
Kawan means 'Strong', a suitable name for the son of our flight's mightiest warrior! Divan is very proud of his firstborn son, and goes out daily to train him up. Perhaps one day Kawan will be as strong as him?
Kawan was once in the same flight as his father, his brothers and sisters, his mother. But he didn't stay forever. The mighty warrior felt a draw on his being, a calling elsewhere. He ignored it until the burn was too much for him to bare. The day he left, his father gave him a smile, as though knowing this would happen. Mother sent him off with a quick hug and goodbye, wishing him luck on his journey.
And so he set off, traveling across the land until he reached the vile and twisted lands of the plaque flight. He wasn't greeted kindly as those born of the plaque believe in strength above all else. "Survival of the fittest outsider!" One had hissed at him. This was an alien world. His lonely travel lasted weeks until he met a little dragon...a fae. "Greeting outsider" was her monotone welcome. "You are a long way from home young one" observant she was. The two ended up in conversation for a while until the fae had to leave to go and greet her 'rowdy wild mate' as she said.
Days later he met her again. And again after that. And yet again. She became a constant in his life, a trusted friend. It was of no surprise when she invited him to her flight. He was weary at first but agreed to at least think about it, see what her flight was like. What he saw was surprising to say the least. A flight made up of many different dragons, being lead by a mirror male of all species. Before he greet anyone, the little far dragged him over to the mirror. "Kawan, id like you to meet Slurry, my mate"
A strange and unusual flight, a place for the lost and unsure is what he'd been told by her and her mate. Yet when he stepped here the burn in his being had stopped. This was his calling...this was his home.
How he hoped his father would be proud of him...and would like his mate Minoka, whenever they should meet!
