Minoka

Minoka was born in the plaque flight, a first generation as her parents had come from elsewhere. Her mother, a beautiful guardian and her father, a handsome bogsneak had felt a call to this place. To this flight. They had a healthy cluth together, with many of their children going off to find their own fates elsewhere. Minoka however felt no need to leave. This was her home. Like all guardians she took on a charge to watch and protect. She still watches over him, the sickly and lethargic mirror Tanzanite. He doesn't always appreciate it of course but he is her charge and he must deal with at as she tells him.
Growing up a flight like this one has shaped her into an interesting character. She likes to wear skull masks with beads and feathers hanging from them. She adores capes and she loves the strange vest gifted to her by Faelynn. Her speech is strange, mannerisms stranger. She unfortunately tends to scare off any potential mates and sometimes even friends. But that changed when Kawan joined the flight.
He was a handsome pearlcatcher, a strong one too. He was as kind as he was lovely to the eyes and soon she found herself swooning. She tried to talk to him but like some bad romance book, they kept getting interrupted. Eventually she just decided to give him a nuzzles and see what happens.
He returned it.
A few days later, he gifted her a new skull mask for her collection...it has since become her favorite one. Hw got many nuzzles and cuddles for that.
The two simply fit well together. The stern and stoic trainer, and the aloof and playfully guardian. He isn't one for showing public affection, but would never push Minoka away when she nuzzles him. He shows his love in other ways...such as beautiful poetry, little gifts, and of course cuddles when the two are alone.
