Something desired for; A wish came true...
This lady has quite the history to her.
And it starts before she even set foot in this lair!
A friend of mine was showing off her newest brood, and the moment I saw Mounia I thought she was lovely and wished to own a dragon just like her.
A few days later my wish was seemingly answered, for my friend needed to make space in her lair. I had no idea which dragons she would drop off, but Mounia was one of the two that were handed to me. Mounia has been in my lair since she was an unnamed hatchling; and has effected the group ever since. This flight was a mostly meat eating flight until Mounia and her sister joined us! But we loved on them anyways, and made compromises where we could.
As the days went by we got to see Mounia grow up into a mature dragoness. The males were rowdy, they had seen her potential and wished to mate with her.
I admit that I was nervous to let her, for who knew when her owner would want her back? But, she did say that I could breed them so the worry wasn't huge...
Mounia mated with Divan, a gorgeous male that I had bought recently to up the chances of her young to look like her; I wanted to at least have a baby replica for when she left to keep forever.
Mounia gave us a small brood of 2 eggs, but they hatched into beauties, both looking almost completely alike to their parents.
On the night of their birth, the day finally came.
My friend asked if I was still holding the dragons she lent me...
I gave Mounia a hug, and she hugged me and her brood in turn as I gave her my answer.
Yes, I still had them; just let me know what day you want them back.
I held my breath as I waited for an answer.
Only to both laugh and cry in joy when she said that I can keep the darker one if I wished. She was in love more with Mounia's purple sister.
Call it favoritism if you will, but I was so happy that my darling wasn't purple!
It was the perfect Valentine's Day gift. Mounia had hatched beautiful babies and I get to keep her in my flight forever!!
