WIP put the wordy words here. Need something good to say! This one called to me, I do not know why or for what, only that he caught and held my eye. What he wants, I do not know. Though, I will find out. I am honestly seeing a First One with him. We will see. Alonzo watches over the logistics of all deliveries in the Floating Isles. He conducts most of his work in Freeport... the words, the thoughts, wander off from here, to where and why I do not know. He is incredibly pessimistic. Of all of the First Ones, his act of compassion was not only extreme it was repaid with cruelty. The opal that peeks through his exoskeleton is not a genetic trait. It's a curse that causes him pain and stiffens his joints. When his big sister found him and brought him to their parent he could barely move. It took a great deal out of his parent to heal the cruelty set upon his flesh. Not that Narmod could completely heal him, a part of the curse refuses to leave him. This first lesson in compassion is a scar across his heart and for that reason, he is more reserved and by far less easy to befriend than his siblings. He will not trust easily or quickly and forget trying to have a friendly conversation with him. It will not happen. He is perpetually sour and at the same time, there is a sadness behind his eyes that he just cannot hide. Though, those that do get past his sour attitude they will find a kind-hearted, level-headed, and a rather funny guy. Once he does call you friend (and this is a major achievement) he will be a steadfast and loyal friend forever. Special item: Alonzo possesses a bloody bandage, which is gross, yes; but this enchanted bloody rag is what his sister used to help heal him and it has special meaning to him. Aside from the sentimental meaning, the bandage is capable of healing any wound it is set against. Even some of the worst injuries are wiped away by that bandage. |
