There will be wordie words here. Most likely a great many of them. He is a first one for the Merry Munchkins. He's one of the oldest of the First Ones. He's very wise and extremely gentle. He deplores violence of any sort and refuses to participate in it, especially if it can be defused by negotiation and patients. Crispin has enough patients to wait for a rock to soften its edges. He is also very lucky, this is not a gift from his parent, it is just something he was born to. Crispan was young when his family, his first family that is, was taken from him. His small village had been caught in the middle of the perpetual fighting that was so common back then. The war washed over them leaving most... well, you get the idea. Those unlucky enough to make it through the initial wave of fighters did not make it away from the slavers that came picking at the remains after. Crispan was among those forced into servitude. Though he was scared, he never really focused on himself. Instead, he focused on those stuck in the cage with him. Their captors dragged them all over the world and rarely did the slaves get food or water. He would create as much ice as he could to ensure everyone had something to drink. He would tire himself out ensuring everyone had water to drink. Unfortunately, this led to his inability to do the work demanded of him. He would tire out so quickly that he'd pass out. He would wake one day, in the middle of the desert, to find himself abandoned. Zeph would find him half-alive on the parched plains and she brought him home. Special item: Copper goblet. Crispin always has the goblet on him and the goblet will always have something to drink in it. The drink will be different for anyone that sips on the cup and it can be anything from plain water to a life-saving antidote. It never runs dry and it never spills. |
