Narmod's Children First One | Mate: ? | Story: WIP

Wordie words.

It came, I wrote. It's painfully sloppy.

Minuette is one of the oldest next to her brother, Vilmantas. Though they are several years older than Zeph, they are not the oldest siblings. That goes to Zeph, who was brought to the Floating Isles first. Both keep constant vigilance over the first athenaeum.

First story (Minuette): Before she was saved by her parent (Narmod). Min (her usual nickname amongst her siblings), sold little wildflowers to scrap in enough coin to feed herself. She was alone back then, what happened to her family, she doesn't know and she isn't in a rush to find out. The family she has now is her family. Not that she's upset or angry with her birth parents, it's just that she's never known them and life led her in this direction. She simply embraces those facts and holds dearly to the family she knows.

She is fanatic about recording the history of Narmod's children (the original name of the subspecies. She refuses to refer to them as Merry Munchkins as she feels this is a foolish name). Minuette is rooted well to the ground and does not partake in much humor or rapscallionism. Though she does enjoy the humor of her family and she wishes to see them happy, what makes her happy are her books and histories. She does enjoy a good mystery from time to time, but she cannot tolerate fantasy or science fiction. Soft-spoken.

Special item: Minuette was gifted with an ever-blooming rose. This rose allows her to make copies to give to those that might require a smile. The scent of the bloom releases serotonin to the recipient, allowing them to ease sorrow or anger. The flower can also feed those that are hungry. Regardless of what they eat or their tastes the flower is always what they need and that one bloom sates any dragon that eats it.

First story (Vilmantas): Vil (also his nickname) was cast out of his tribe when he was very young. Honestly, he does not recall what the reason was and he doesn't concern himself with it. Most of his young life (before being brought to the Floating Isles) he has forgotten. It was a traumatic era of his life and he does not miss what his mind has dismissed. What he does remember about it was wandering into a dragon controlled area, where he encountered a young Fae shivering in the cold. He didn't know what it was about this hatchling, perhaps it was their nearness in age that drew him to her, he knows not, but he remembers being drawn right to her. He would cloak her in his scarf, trying to cover her frostbitten skin to the best of his ability. The girl was not frightened of him, in fact, she watched him with her big pink eyes the entire time. Once he finished and curled in around her she offered him some flowers and it was those flowers that fed him. Since that day, they have not parted.

Vilmantas is as painfully serious as his little sister, though he is easier to get to laugh at a joke than Min. He's dedicated to the history of Narmod's children and the education of their people. He's always to hear of new ways to teach. Vil spends a great deal of time fussing over the histories in the first athenaeum and is very protective about the histories contained within. He is close and extremely loving to his family, though he is closest to Min.

Special item: Vilmantas possesses a cloak that he can expand, shrink, and tear apart. It acts like a blanket to cover and soothe anyone that might need it. He can tear off some of it and those bits he can expand to fit anyone that needs a cover. The blanket is known to soothe anyone it touches, even those who are enraged will settle for the calming effect of his blanket.
