The epitome of the strict librarian stereotype, Mouric rules over his library with an iron ruler, keeping the shelves pristine and every book in its proper place. He has a large scroll with every single borrow and return dating back to the start of the library, and if you’re late returning something, he definitely won’t let you forget it. He takes his lunch sitting on an out of the way rock or tree stump by the river banks, and spends that hour every day working on his detailed and highly accurate historical fiction novels.
