HISTORY
Evren was born after The Flauros Incident, a tragedy within Irthskaar that left The Abandoned weak and desperately trying to rebuild. Food shortages were common in her childhood, and she has bitter memories of forcing down dried jerky and water to keep herself going. As she grew older, she realized that the biggest issue was that--in the wake of the violence--most able-bodied dragons were turning away from things like farming and gathering to instead throw in their lot with The Wolves. They wanted to be defenders and heroes, to be the wall that stands between Irthskaar and the next tragedy. While honorable, she felt that her neighbors were missing the big picture.
And so, when Evren was old enough, she brought what few coins she had to The Fifteen and petitioned for a parcel of land. If nobody else was going to try to take care of the basic needs of the clans, she’d do it herself. Evren founded Wymbridge Farms before she was even fully an adult, using a mixture of magic, enchanting, and hard work to turn the harsh, dry soil of the canyon into fertile, lush farmland. She grew gardens, maintained apiaries, and even took to raising livestock. She grew surplus, started a trading caravan to sell her excess, and began employing dragons with nowhere else to go. Now, she’s a competitor to Sitael in the food market, as well as his apprentice. He has high hopes for her, even if she happens to steal his business every now and again. |

DAISY
Originally a gift from Evren’s mate (a dragon with a flair for excess), Daisy is not only Evren’s beloved pet, but the mascot for her business: Wyrmbridge Farms. Her likeness is painted and chiseled all over the property, and it’s very rarely that Daisy isn’t at Evren’s side. There is a rumor that Daisy, being a Flora Cerdae, may have some effect on the fertility of Evren’s soil and her unnaturally large yields. Evren jokingly refers to it as a trade secret.
