Mint, originally a plague dragon, traveled throughout the land. She ended up meeting a nice ice dragon and ended up having three kids. Two hatched early and soon found themselves traveling too. One egg though took its time hatching. While she was in the ice territory she saw the huge incubators peaking out of a huge metal building. She wondered in and found various lightning dragons engineering dragons suspended in some dark blue/green liquid. Curious she asked what they were doing. All the responses were the same," Engineering, work, makes boss-man happy" She stayed around and watched them engineering eggs, and hatchlings. They all came out looking like her, or close to her. She offered one of her eggs, and they quickly nabbed it up and worked away on it. She stayed the whole time while they engineered her offspring. Often during the night, she would put her claw up against the suspended egg's capsule and hum a little tune to it. The process took five months, all of which she stayed there the whole time. Then suddenly one of the workers pulled the egg out and handed it to her, "Hatch. Soon." Then quickly scurried away. She clutched the egg close to her and slowly a little head pushed its way out of the shell. She smiled and pulled him out," Oh my beautiful boy, I am naming you Lugh."
During the time she was there though, she didn't twiddle her claws the whole time. One of the workers taught her how to fix equipment quickly and efficiently when needed. She soon became very skilled at working on the equipment, that most would call for her right when they needed it fixed. Her mate left her telling her she was wasting her time there and he went on his way. She scoffed and continued to help. She thought StormCatcher was a rather charming deity anyways, she didn't mind helping to benefit him.
As she grew more fond of the sub-specie, she decided to become a brood-mother for those who can't take care of their own. She has taken in many eggs under her wing, and raised them as their own until they're ready to see the world themselves. She is very selfless and will lend a claw out to those in need any day.
