Biography
Sable is the youngest child of Umbrose and Nimitti that is still with the clan. Her elder brothers, Grunner, Sacha, and Saison, love her dearly. As her brothers have shown no interest in carrying on the clan should their parents eventually decide to step down, she is the de facto heir. Sable spent most of her early life travelling around Sornieth, keeping a detailed journal filled with notes and drawings of her adventures so that she could easily remember them. Having spent time in all eleven domains, her journey eventually brought her to the Southern Icefield. She spent a great deal of time in the homeland of her species, learning much about the Icewarden and the history of the region. The most memorable experience, in her opinion, was meeting a Gaoler. She had heard about them from the clans in the Icefield, learning that they mostly kept to themselves, aside from the Seekers, which would be seen stalking through clans and the wilds, looking for Shadetouched. She was with clan in the fringes of where the Cloudscrape Crags gave way to the Fortress of Ends, and heard a rumor from one of the locals that a Gaoler had been spotted nearby. Never being one to shy away from an opportunity, Sable set out to find this Gaoler... and find him she did. Sable spent two days trailing Ishmerai before he even acknowledged her. Eventually, he broke down and decided to talk to the young tundra. She told him everything, about her home, and her travels, and even let him go through her journal. Ishmerai let her continue to follow him, and, eventually, began to tell her about himself and his people. He told her of the Gaoler orders, of their mission, and their massive prisons. Eventually, their conversations moved on to Sable's clan mates. One of them, known as Trespasser, caught Ishmerai's attention. When Sable expressed a desire to return home to see her family, Ishmerai told her he would join her, and the two began the long trek north to the grounds of the Sable Glen. Sable's previous travels aided them substantially in their journey, with friends she had made previously more than happy to help them. So far, Sable is the only dragon that Ishmerai really interacts with, and their friendship is more of a tolerance for her company on Ishmerai's part, but Sable finds him fascinating and has turned her attention from chronicling her journeys to making extensive notes and writing down all that he tells her.
