Noirin

Noirin, since the death of her mother and the disappearance of her older brother, Rosnaithe, has stayed in the city to learn the ways of the Shade Hunters. Due to the circumstances surrounding her mother and brother, she has grown bitter toward Shade and Shaded peoples alike. She has adopted the title of Shade Killer, and her elemental magic has granted her the ability to purge the blackness from those suffering from the Affliction, literally burning it out of them and leaving their bodies and souls scarred with vein-like burns. Her magic is not gentle or soft, but as harsh as the warrior she has become. She rejects the gods, for what deity would let such a horrible entity such as the Mass exist without action.

With the rise of Malchiore as king, she was resistant. A being of half Shade, and her own mother arising from the dead, but...changed. Her strong hate of the Shade gave her cause to look into the idea of rebellion. However, when she was approached with a high title and power, she was willing to bend, if only a little. She sits, waits, to see if they make good on their promises to bring the Shade back into its full glory of thousands of years ago. She has made herself a promise - she will not let it come to pass.

As of now, she stands by the Devil King's side as his highest general and sister. Long live Cathaire.
