Beautiful and fearless wife of Findlaich.
Mother of the Devil King and the Chosen Rose.
Gruoch was once a woman, an earthly being with love and a cunning mind.
She is a leader of the Mother's Shadow, a cult of Shade Worshippers. Taking her vows to do what she can for the will of the Shade, she surrendered her body to it. Her soul was wrapped up in darkness, and she fell into death. She returned a few months later, a new being, calm and smiling with black eyes. She provides support to her favorite son, Malchiore, and keeps steward over her husband's lands.
