DESCRIPTION

A once proud Guardian, Mariana is a shell of her former self. She used to rule the clan with Karmin by her side, strong and untouchable, or so the clan thought. TimeCatcher, tired of the Guardian's rule, attacked and overthrew Mariana. She was defeated viciously, turned into a weak pearlcatcher to humiliate her past strength, and thrown aside in the clan, generally treated like trash

With her mate's memories of her gone, her clan taken and dismantled and herself being blind and weak, it is a miracle that Mariana finds the will to live out her days. The depressed pearlcatcher wanders the halls of the clan's lair aimlessly, as if she were a ghost, unnoticed and never acknowledged. Mariana herself is silent and keeps her head down, constantly sulking or in tears. Even when she retreats to sleep by Karmin's side, her sorrow and heartbreak radiate off of her.

Due to Mariana's extensive knowledge of the clan's residents and their pasts, the demoted leader was assigned to be a lorekeeper and writer. Though this breaks her heart writing about her downfal and how everything was taken, Mariana is thankful to be alive...even if it is just to be a trophy of TimeCatcher's conquest.

It's another day. The air is filled with the smell of death...the smell of defeat.
My body aches with just the memories. How everything fell apart...

Another scent, a familiar scent, one that helps push the pain away. Karmin. Even through hell and his lack of knowing who I am...he stays with me. Even though I brought him down so far.

'I don't know who you are madam, but I will never leave you.' he says to me whenever I ask him why he follows me. If only you knew my love...but it's better this way. I couldn't bear to let my Karmin see how much I've fallen, the weakness I wallow in, the sorrow that grips my every waking moment....

I'm sorry I have failed you...I'm sorry I have failed you all.

Clan of Flightless

Growth Era

The clan has it's beginning in Arcane and grows with new arrivals. Clanmates are happy and content, but soon make their way to water in order to flourish.

Destruction Era

TimeCatcher and VoidWalker overthrow Mariana and Karmin, taking over the can. TimeCatcher resets many clan members pasts and VoidWalker kills all that are considered unpure.

Expansion Era

VoidWalker hunts down all who are "pure" and enlists them into taking care of the lair or protecting it. The clan and it's lair expand to twice it's original size.

Silent Era

Cutting themselves off from the world, the clan retreats to the shadows and ends most (if not all) communications. Nothing they did was recorded and it was deemed that the clan might disband.

Revivial Era

Dementia, The Shadow Warlock, has gone through and created a new movement. Reviving lost dragons into undead monstrosities and purging other dragons that cannot grasp onto the new life the clan has made for itself.

The Uprising Era

The lair has a rift within it, Rebellion has arisen. Dementia, tries his best to keep the traitors in check but is losing power.
