Frostiron Clan Leader
Mate of Barton, Clan Historian
She hadn't ever expected to become a clan leader. Romanoff and Barton, young dragons newly mated, were two of the first to join Weatherwax's Frostiron Clan. They had come of age together in a clan that served the Stormcatcher, and though the clan had been good to them, they were both orphans and felt no deep familial ties that might bind them to the clan. They quickly fell in love with Weatherwax's dream of creating a clan that would tie dragons together regardless of affiliation.

Over time Weatherwax became the mother that Romanoff had never had - and in turn Romanoff's assistance, hard work and logical perspective became crucial to Weatherwax. Romanoff was shocked when Weatherwax first began to speak of the possibility of stepping down and giving leadership over her, but Weatherwax assured her, at the time, that it was a transition still in the future, to be made only when she was ready - but Weatherwax never once doubted that she would be, in time.

And, in time, she was. With Barton at her side, her companion and consort, she leads the clan with confidence and experience. Her calm, steady nature and sharp intelligence are a constant assurance to the dragons of Frostiron. She still frequently turns to Weatherwax for advice and perspective, but there is now no question that the decisions are ultimately hers to make.
