Gwenhyvere
Captain of the Gatherers
The Nature clan of Gwenhyvere's birth was friendly with the Ice clan of Weatherwax's birth, and Gwenhyvere - older than Weatherwax but not by much - grew up playing with Weatherwax and her siblings at gatherings of the clans.

Although she cared for and trusted Weatherwax, it was more her sense of adventure than anything else that influenced her decision to leave her birthclan and join Weatherwax's new settlement. She had always wanted to be an adventurer, exploring new territories and gathering resources for her clan, but her birthclan discouraged females from pursuing battle. Gwen knew that Weatherwax would have no such restrictions, and she has been the captain of Frostiron Clan's Gatherers since the clan's birth.

Though she has had plenty of dalliances, she has never taken a mate. She has never had a desire to be settled down or raise hatchlings, and her strongest bonds have always been with her teammates.

She is hardly a young dragon, but her strength and spirit never wane, and no one expects that she'll choose to retire for quite some time.
