Where..where am I? There is only silence, emptiness all around her. Please! Someone tell me where I am! Again, silence is her only reply. Perhaps it has always been like this for her, perhaps it always will be. But no,there is the faint sound of dripping far above her! She begins to dig.
That is the story of Cali's beginning, she had neither childhood nor family - the first memory is only confusion, a dark, empty place. Fear and pain and desperate loneliness. Then, suddenly, light! A murky, blotted light, but light nonetheless. Blinking her many eyes rapidly, Cali bursts from the blood-red ground and shakes her full grown body. She looks around her, and begins her life in the Plaguelands.

Cali is a talented swordfighter, wise matriarch, and an absolute agent of Chaos. Sure her clan loves and respects her, and sure she is gentle with Peta and thoughtful when it comes to important matters - but she never truly lost the wildness of her heritage. She hides it well, under a layer of confident nonchalance, most of the time, but she also has been known to jump off the occasional cliff into a Galestorm or start a fight with another clan over a dream she had where they were mean to her... Also, though she is neither the strongest, smartest, nor most ambitious dragon, everyone knows that The Akeva clan is hers, it wouldn't be a clan without her. Some of her clanmates have tried to assign her royal titles or even give her demigod like status, but she adamantly refuses these designations. She prefers to be referred to as only the Keeper of the clan, or even just Cali. Still, there are those superstitious few who see magic and mystery and power in a dragon like herself... a godsborn.
