Vertigo is a young and ambitious soldier, seething with rage and vengeance for his home flight and his brother species the Imperials. In the light flight, Vertigo had been a promising young warrior on a direct route to becoming a captain. He served loyally under his Commander, a young, hardened, but kind Imperial. Determined to earn his rank, Vertigo did his requested duties and more, even training on his own to perfect his battle skills. Basilisk encouraged him in his work and dedication, and eventually, Vertigo found himself seeking that precious praise. Everything Vertigo did, he did for his Commander. They fought side by side for years as mentor and apprentice. Being sent from his family at a young age to become a soldier against the shade, left Vertigo with no one.
As Vertigo, moved up in the ranks, he became closer, in rank and in relationship with his mentor. He quickly grew attached to his Basilisk, as truly his closest friend, and role model. His feelings quickly became romantic as he came to the conclusion that no one would treat him as Basilisk did.
Vertigo's pining continued for some time and even as he became more forward, though still subtle, in his advances Basilisk treated him the same as ever. Confiding in him his plans before the rest of the squadron, spending nearly all his free time with Vertigo, he could hardly be less than hopeful. Basilisk was so kind, so dear to him, he could hardly imagine rejection and the destruction of his most precious relationship.
Rumor had it that after being rejected romantically by Basilisk, Vertigo later made an attempt on the general's life, out of sheer denial and blind rage as he was prone to in battle. Burning with shame and rejection, Vertigo was exiled by the very dragon he loved, and from that day forth could never return to light flight territory or face execution. Since then he has hated Imperials viciously, able to hide his reasoning behind that of the others of his kind.
Vertigo has moved from area to area as a mercenary and occasional assassin. Although stealth is not his strong suit, he is otherwise a very strong and able-bodied dragon. He excels in group combat and knows his way around a fight. He almost never exposes his pearl in public, like he is afraid that those who see it will be able to gaze upon his past. He speaks rarely, and never about his past. He tends to work with Rogue inside the clan, as they work in similar areas and they're skills balance out well. Despite being the assassin, she tends to the talking for the two of them.

_Solider_
____From a young and impressionable age, Vertigo was trained to obey orders and respect command, unquestionably. His superiors word was law, and their orders were his sole duty to fulfill. Full of pent up anger and rage from childhood neglect, Vertigo could easily channel this energy into a powerful fighting spirit.
____Vertigo has had experience facing all kinds of enemies, both solo and in a team. While he is impulsive, his instinct comes from a well versing in tactics and a general collection of battle wisdom. When necessary he possesses a powerful projecting voice to yell orders through the air on, the clanging of metal. Although Vertigo by know means struggles with aerial combat, he is an incredible threat on the ground. Able to overpower Imperials with his sheer force and speed alone, Vertigo is a trained dragon not to be tampered with.
____Vertigo developed a nasty habit of leaving no survivors. Confident in his belief that his enemies represent ultimate evil, he will strike down whoever he is told to without hesitation. Rarely showing attachment, Vertigo would leave a man behind if ordered to do so but not if unnecessary. If told to raid camps, Vertigo takes the life of any who threaten him or his squad, no matter how much of a true threat they really are. Whispers are spread in secret about the extent of his ruthlessness, but Baslilsk does his best to crush those rumors.
_Outcast_
____Practically abandoned by his parents at a young age, Vertigo was enlisted into the military the day he reached his adult size. His parents had too many children to truly care for each and every one of them well, a sad but plain truth. Many of his siblings meet them same fight, some who Vertigo never even meet, became no more than names on paper as the casualties kept pouring in. Vertigo was partially parented by his older sister Pria before she met her demise fighting on lightning flight territory, days before Vertigo was enlisted.
____Vertigo never had anyone visit him when he was stationed at home. Other dragons reunited with their families and lovers but the few friends Vertigo had been strictly military and more of causal alliances than true friendships. Vertigo often spent a lot of time alone, giving his bitterness and pestilence thoughts time to brew.
____Often Vertigo was avoided just becuase of his rumored prowess and savage attitude. He was a feared sight of the battle field, and one of the most praised soliders in his fleet despite his age. His reputation put others, espically newcomers, younger than him, off.

I'm a sucker for warriors, and the way you've mixed all those different types of armor together is beautiful to behold! How fitting that I'm doing Vertigo after having done Basilisk - I'd forgotten about the way their lore was tied together! It was good to read events from his perspective, and to see what became of him after his exile! His stats were on point, and I especially love how his lore diverges to represent different facets of his personality!
