Biography
Despoina is the clan's main alchemist and part-time tinkerer. Though she hides behind a dispassionate front, she is fiercely kind in her own quiet way. Alchemized creatures often sit by her side as she works, diligent and focused. She trained Toxin in her arts, and nothing can hide her pride in her apprentice's potion brewing skills.
Her facemask is actually the result of a potion catching blaze. Black from the smoke and soot, cyan stripes from the alchemical magic. The rest of her unusual features, such as her extra horns and tail fur, are all deliberate, though.
Despoina frequently laments how the other alchemists in the clan seem to have little regard for safety and sense. The other alchemists politely avoid pointing out Despoina's cavalier attitude regarding mutagenic potions.
