She found the camp just days after it had settled in. Uncertain and lonely, the Partiarch allowed her into his camp, and she cozied in... quickly. They found themselves falling together without really thinking about it- her calm kept him calm, and his vicious nature drew her out of her shell and allowed her freedom and protection. Slowly, they populated the clan, and took in the dragons who sought refuge. She became the mother of the clan, her diminutive size doing nothing to hinder her ability to lead and protect the clan. Though she speaks quietly, and without projection, the whole clan hears her words and listens. She is the Judge, the Punisher, and the Nurturer. She is the giver of life and protection, and the removal of the same. She is gentleness and strength, she is comfort and fear. It is through her that the clan's life-blood flows. On the longest night of the year, after escorting some Exalts to Shadowbinder, the Progenitors were informed of a dilemma. A previously unknown breed had taken flight, and their eggs were in danger. In the claws of the beastclans, they were a threat. The clan took flight, and soon were gathering eggs and chests to deliver back to the Shadowbinder. In thanks, she granted them a gift. The Matriarch now watches over her clan from the sky, on wings that never seem to tire of the skies. She dances and weaves through the air, a dark mask over the stars and against the trees.
