Violet

Palescale’s younger brother, who left Moonwake long ago to help a new clan get off the ground. This new clan turned out to be led by an unsavory individual looking to cement their dominion over the underbelly of the Windswept Plateau. Violet slipped neatly into the role of information-gathering and dealmaking, ensuring that the boss always knew what was going on in his territory. Yet even as Violet became privy to higher-up meetings and deals, he never once caught a glimpse of the boss. Soon enough, the boss picked a fight with a bigger fish, and Violet decided to flee back to his home clan. He spent his earnings on a couple gene scrolls and some false documentation, then spread word along his network that he and his bodyguard had been assassinated. He invited his bodyguard, Mabli, to flee with him, and the two set off for the Tsunami Flats.
Of course, by that time, Clan Moonwake had long since moved to the Starwood Strand, leading Violet and Mabli on a roundabout adventure trying to figure out where the clan had ended up. Eventually, they quite literally stumbled into the clan while chasing a separate lead. Violet was welcomed back with many questions, though he gave as few answers as possible. So far, he’s been adjusting to being back home. It’s a lot calmer than his old job. Aside from, you know, the reality bending and all.

Violet inherited his father's tendency to trail smoke, though Violet's smoke emerges from the base of his wings rather than his claws. Additionally, small motes of light will trail off from his wings and tail in response to positive emotional stimuli. It's made going incognito somewhat more difficult.
