kurki is the head messenger of the burrow arkhaeion and is in charge of the clan's communication with the world. she spends most of her time away from the burrow, delivering messages and bringing news of the world back home. despite being well into her 50s, kurki is a child at heart, bubbly and full of an infectious excitement and lust for adventure.

⚹ background ⚹

kurki is the daughter of a now-retired archivist, riddle. she grew up very close with her twin sister blackmist. now, after blackmist's exaltation, they keep in touch with letters, some of which kurki delivers herself. in addition to her biological family, kurki is an older sister to riddle's adopted children, dominic, spencer and irene. while the age difference between kurki and her siblings, especially dominic and spencer, keeps them from being very close, kurki still loves them. as a young skydancer, kurki befriended meerta, a member of a local longneck clan. the two are thick as thieves.

while traveling the southern icefield some thirty years ago, kurki met and fell in love with elurra worldwing on a rather perilous journey. kurki helped elurra - and later her ward, amaranth - travel sornieth and eventually settle in rara avis in the starfall isles. now, kurki and elurra carry on a happy long-distance romance, which lead to their clans' alliance. 		xxx
