Biography
G2 BloodmoonxSunStar-->Moonlight(firstborn!)
Moon isn't insincere, but she sometimes makes promises she can't fulfill. It's nothing personal, she just overextends herself to try to help the ones she cares about, sometimes at the cost of her own stamina. She jumps into things headfirst without always thinking it through, which is completely unlike both her parents. Like her mother, she enjoys writing. Her writing tends to be more personal, however. She prefers journaling to publishing stories and gets upset when others try to read what she's written.

((4/22/23))
Aqua and I began our quest for the Portal with young Barnacles. The Training Fields seemed to drag on forever, but at least we got a chance to grow stronger. When night fell, we were already asleep on our claws.
((4/24/23))
Our time in the Woodland Path was a mixed bag. Some days were harder than others, and we didn't always win. On the tail end, however, we felt like champions and finally felt confident in our abilities. Aqua learned a healing spell, and I learned how to channel my shadow magic into my claws to deal extra damage to ice, wind, and fire-aligned foes. We found a great treasure chest in the woods: !!! We were so proud of ourselves.
We had a hard time in the Scorched Forest, and Barnacles quit on us. We don't blame her. We brought in Wanderer for our next challenge in the Sandswept Delta. They had more experience than us, and were eager to help in our quest to reach the Portal. It might have been the plague and light-aligned serthis armies, but I spent most of my time in the Delta swimming just below consciousness, despite Aqua's best efforts. I know Wanderer wasn't doing much better, having hatched here in the shadows, same as me. Even Aqua had trouble with the arcane-aligned serthis. Aqua says he'll learn a spell to repel light-aligned enemies, since he hatched in a lightning clan, but he doesn't know enough magic yet. I know he feels helpless only being able to heal us. He never feels quick enough, but I tell him he's too hard on himself.
It was very late when we arrived in the Blooming Grove and we only lasted a few hours before we had to set up camp for the night. Wanderer, full of energy still, took the first watch. Aqua configured a sort of lamp to keep enemies away, but I found it hard to sleep with its bright light and slept with my wings over my eyes. I didn't have the heart to ask him to turn off the light--he was so proud of it. Devices like that are what his birth flight is known for. He may live in the Tangled Wood now, but his heart will always run with the help of a few well-oiled cogs.
((4/25/23))
In the morning, we were all so turned around we accidentally stumbled back to the Delta and immediately found a !
Then Wanderer reminded us it was time to move on to the Blooming Grove, so we moved on. It was pretty uneventful in the Grove, but Wanderer leveled up.
We found a lot of loot that month, but no skin chests in the Forgotten Cave.
As for Bamboo Falls, Wanderer was the only one strong enough to really thrive in the Falls. Before we got too far, Wanderer suggested we train with Venik to get us on their level. Venik took us to the Waterway to train up so we could all face the Falls together. Aqua was so close to learning Shock, and it would be helpful for him to learn some offense besides his neutral attack. She took us to the Arena and Aqua learned a lightning attack when we leveled up again. Wanderer was waiting for us at the Falls to continue our journey.
((4/26/23))
We encountered few troubles in the Thunderhead Savanna. It felt as if we were floating on clouds. The past venues were grueling and we all passed out several times. That didn't happen in the Savanna. I guess we're finally getting better at this.
We came into Redrock Cove and immediately encountered a Spiney Whale, but then we tripped. All three of us at the same time.
The Waterway was another story. No chests at all this time. In fact, it feels like the only thing we're doing anymore is getting stronger and collecting sand dollars. I'm starting to think we've all set unrealistic goals for ourselves.
((4/27/23))
Today's journey ended on a high note, at least. Wanderer leveled up after we fought a Feathered Boar. Otherwise, it was a pretty boaring day.
Aqua was looking over my shoulder and just whacked me for that one. He says he doesn't love me anymore, but he was smiling when he said it.
The Volcanic Vents were hot and annoying. The enemies kept dodging our hits and Wanderer and I nearly got in a fight with each other.
The Rainsong Jungle taught us we needed to take a break and train up more, so we let Team Darkfang (Conifer, Ametrine, and Salamandra) take over the next venue. I watched on the sidelines while Aqua and Wanderer rested. It might have been performance anxiety, but they seemed to be stumbling more as the days wore on. Maybe they were just tired. It was a pretty intense session.
((4/28/23))
Con, Ame, and Sal wanted to continue fighting in the Crystal Pools, where they've been paving the way for the clan so far, so we let them keep going for us. We were pretty tired from all we'd been through anyway.
