Microlore: It is no easy feat to become a distinguished jeweler in Dragonhome, and yet there is something in the challenge of it that makes him try all the harder to make it so. Selecting deliberately flawed emeralds for signet rings, clear diamonds for pendants, and sapphires of every hue for a delicate bangle are all things that take up a great deal of his time. Cutting, polishing, and setting the gems, on the other hand, are almost meditative practices for him, and he loses more of his day into these practices than the selection itself.
He is an able salesdragon, welcoming many to his shop and inviting them to try things on, see if there is something they like. His warm demeanor and friendly, judgement-free gaze puts his clients at ease, and his steady, easy voice usually secures the sale.
Outside of his business, he is even and calm, and some of his best friends are dragons of more impetuous natures. He finds their boundless energies delightful and endearing, and he is happy to follow at a distance as they bound ahead.
Hatchling name: Sandstone for his coloring and a gentle nature that is reminiscent of the texture of his namesake. This is the name his family called him as he grew up, but not necessarily the one he kept when he joined a new clan.
