Obsidian is the clan’s night watcher. They stay up all night, keeping watch over the clan, and attacking anything that may be a threat. They act almost like an owl, rarely blinking and flying as silent as the wind itself Unlike other dragons they were not born, but made. At first they were simple just metal, than were crafted into a charm, a black dragon with pink gems for eyes. They was put up for sale as a price of art simply called Obsidian. Obsidian didn’t mind the name. They was sold through many years, always used differently. Someone put them outside their cave as a statue. Another in a shrine to be its protector. This job was their favourite. One night they saw a mighty bird fly by. It was an owl, it’s feathers as black as night. It landed on their horn and remained there for a while. Obsidian admired the bird. It could go where it wanted to. It could fly as well. And it was stunning. Eventually it flew away and they was alone again. Years later the shrine went to ruins and Obsidian was picked up and put up for sale this time. They ended up in a new arcane clan. They had never been in a clan before, only decorated in a loner’s cave. The mage of the clan did something no one expected and Obsidian was brought to life. The first thing they did was stretch.
