BloodStorm

Give a grin to BloodStorm, the first Clan Meteorologist and one of Terrence's daughters and matriarch of her small family clan!

Inspired by her colors & the Flight she hailed from, when Cascade/I named her that was what came me & what I decided to name her that would be fitting :) And when she earned her title later on as Clan Meterologist, it was fitting as well and paved the way for others with the word 'Storm' in their names who would also follow in her footsteps.


BloodStorm is a bold, outgoing Ridgeback with a very outgoing personality. She doesn't let anything get in her way and isn't afraid to challenge societal norms, especially when it comes to her Role. Just shy of what you may consider of a rebel, she is loud & stands up for what's right but not being like a bad person with the rebellious attitude that normally comes with the moniker.
Though not trying to, she has, through time, come to have an affinity for red-colored items that match her name. She has a small hoard in her & her husband's home and sets them up in a pleasing way and also adorns herself in similarly colored apparel as well.
She was one of the first few dragons in the clan, and as such, she was one of the first few students & classes in her Aunt's, Erigore's, school. She didn't receive any special treatment, however, being family with the head of the school, as the Imperial treats everyone fairly & justly across the whole board unless shown that they're falling behind and need a little extra boost in the schooling.
When her Aunt put in her school, and she learned all that she could & soaked it all up under her teachings, she learned she found a love for the sciences in the clan and moreover, the atmospherical & meteorological aspects of the realm. Tying the magical attributes of the land into these works, BloodStorm was able to see the correspondences between the natural & ethereal and how they tie into & correlate with one another and the influences they have over & with one another. Now that she understands how it all works, she felt that this was her calling & stepped up to the plate to tell the clan of things in the weather patterns she noticed around their realm. She feels very fortunate to be living in the realm of Wind as well where she feels she has a front-row seat to see the ever-changing weather patterns of the Winds in her home, especially with the never-ending perpetual stationary Twisting Crescendo that causes all sorts of disturbances over their land.
When she isn't busy watching the skies & mapping the patterns, BloodStorm enjoys time with her family & catching up with her children and grandchildren & those in the clan who are close friends with her. And when her husband makes his yearly trek to his homeland in the realm of the Earth near the annual holiday in November and other special occasions, she enjoys her time on the journey & pilgrimage away from her responsibilities in the clan & being wither her husband.
Although she doesn't hail from the Flight herself, she is proud of her husband's Earth heritage and is proud to show that off to the rest of the world, hence why she's donning the Carrying Time skin and wearing the lovely Crystalcourt Cascades & Halo.
Since she has the affinity for the red items, she was rooting through the Apparel stack in the Hoard one day to find something nice to don and spotted the neat-looking wolf pendant with the richly-colored gemstone. It wasn't until she put it on that she realized why as a wolf appeared from the jewel with a red trail streaming from them connecting them to the dangling item. She felt as though the item chose her & found its way to her on purpose and for a purpose, and now she is glad to have the protective wolf-being following her around. And, between the being & her Familiar, she feels pretty insured on her protectivity-levels and that no one would try to mess with her now. She has since become familiar with the wolf-being and treats them as another Familiar and calls them by a name she lovingly deigned to the entity, which is (name).

BloodStorm grew up in one of the first few families in the SkyWings clan, surrounded by her sisters and loving supportive parents. SlateThorn brought honor to their family when she was Exalted, but made their family a little bit smaller in the meantime. BloodStorm strives to make her parents proud with her time in the clan and everything that she has chosen to put her mind & heart to :)
As she grew up in the small clan, she found that none of the local guys in the area caught her eye until one day a few months later in March when a shy Imperial joined the clan... At first, she thought nothing of it, until she heard rumors circulating around that he liked her but was too bashful to approach her, so she approached him herself. Surprising the sheltered Imp, they finally had a good talk and came clean with it all and talked all about their feelings and got it all out in the open. After a while, they began seeing each other, and then had feelings for one another until it led to a wedding, and shortly thereafter, they welcomed into the world their two wonderful sons.
Now, she finds the Imperial who was named Accent now EarthBreath makes a great husband and also a proud parent of her two sons. She knows how EarthBreath had already previously had some kids before, and she doesn't let it bother her and knows that EB loves her only now and she loves the way he is with their children. While she is a first-time mom, she is glad to have the experience of Ebbie on her side as she leads them in the way of the SkyWings clan, and in accordance with the laws that Goldsong and Valen lay down for all the Dragons. Their part of the lair did seem to get quieter after Fury was Exalted, but Razor's son def makes up for this and lives up to his name, and yes, I'm talking about SkyScream XD
BloodStorm received Yura, her Rosaline Strangler, (backstory), and she doesn't mind the way it curls around her arm from time to time and how it follows her around the lair. Though some find the sight of them together a bit unnerving, they know that that is just how strong of a bond Yura and BloodStorm have :)
As she knows her husband is accustomed to being surrounded by many more kids, and she too was also curious to see if his Imperial genes would win out, they re-bred once again & welcomed into the world 4 more lovely children. To their delight, there was an Imp in the mix, and they also welcomed in their first daughter, but the rest of the children took after her with being Ridgebacks :) At that, they welcomed in Drazeal, RazzleDusk, RoseThorn & Trekto, and they both enjoy the journey of raising more children into productive members in the SkyWings clan & the world of Sornieth ^^)


Her role in the SkyWings clan is Meteorologist! She also shares this job with/works alongside with IceStorm and her grandson, SkyScream. Although IceStorm generally sticks to warning the clan of incoming blizzards and snow storms and when the temps are going to drop in the winter months.
Since SkyScream likes to fly so much, he keeps an eye on the sky/weather, then reports back to BloodStorm where she tracks, catalogues, charts and predicts the weather so she can report it to the rest of the clan on SkyTime, the clan's radio station ("It's High Time for SkyTime!" is the station's catchphrase XD ). Since she had Storm in her name and showed an affinity for weather related sciences back when she went to Erigore's school, Moriah thought it best that this job was for her, and she does fill it wonderfully.
--Dragons in this clan who have Storm in their name are seen as weather Dragons, although sometimes, this may not be the case for some and doesn't match up, but as there is so far only 2 Dragons with Storm in their name and both have proven to be excellent weather Dragons, this hasn't been seen yet--

Despite the reputation Meteorologist's on Earth/in America have, the Meteorologists in this clan are met with respect and are taken seriously and the other Dragons in the clan listen to and believe them since they tend to be spot on, and don't think they're joking or lying.
