Spike is the water management specialist for Square Toe. She's the one who does the math on how much water can safely be taken from the reservoir and is the one who has to explain to the clan when they need to cut down on consumption. She works very closely with Roslin, but has a lot of leeway when it comes to granting or deny water requests. She doesn't do any hands-on work with the reservoir however; that's Stiles job.

When not clicking away with her abacus in her library office, Spike likes long naps in the sun, sudokus, and reading the trashiest romance novels known to dragonkind.

Unlike the mayor, Spike's office is an appointed one. Roslin's picked her consistently for the same reason that she herself has run opposed since being elected the first time: no one else can do it.

While Spike stays high and dry doing math all day, Stiles is the one who has to crawl up miles of pipes checking for blockages and leaks when the numbers don't add up. You'd think he'd resent it but instead he sees it as a challenge: how can he prove that she messed up this time, not him?

STILES

Spike once made the mistake of asking Riviera if he'd be willing or able to use Water magic to help out with the reservoir and recieved a lecture about the background magic levels of Square Toe (low), the stereotype that primal eyed dragons always have strong magic (false), and his job desciption (not that).
