Muerta will never take a mate or have children because all she knows is death. Her mother and her two brothers, both dead. Her sister, ran off and joined another clan- dead to her. Her father, still mourning the deaths like an idiot. Her family is basically dead. So naturally, the dragon named after death controls it now. She decides who gets buried with respects and who gets exalted. Very few get buried. Muerta is tired, and lonely, and afraid of the world after all the pain it's given her. Why should she give anything back?
