Forest Valley is a clan that has always considered itself kind and welcoming, although as the years tick past it becomes less true. However, the growing clan continues to take in dragons of any flight or breed.

THE DANDELION AGE

The Dandelion age was the beginning age, when Makeisha, the original leader, and her mate, Skyfire, began to build a clan, breeding and adopting and rescuing. It was one of the most peaceful time in the clan's history, one that Makeisha likes to revisit often.

THE HONEYSUCKLE AGE

The Honeysuckle age was the second period of the clan's history, and was almost as perfect as the first. As the clan grew, so did tensions. When funds ran low, Makeisha appointed her eldest son, Moradii, the official exaltation manager of the clan. Of course, the first dragon to be exalted was Moradii's own younger brother, who was marked from birth and left unnamed. Makeisha and Skyfire began to resent Moradii.

THE BRIAR AGE

The Briar age was the third, and perhaps most unanticipated, era of Forest Valley. The best hunters and gatherers grew ill for just a little too long, and the clan lost their benefits. Hungry and ill, the overflowing clan was forced to spend the last of their treasure to purchase food, and still they struggled to regain their former glory.

THE LAVENDER AGE

The Lavender Age directly preceded that first wave of starvation. After much time had passed, the clan felt brave enough to reproduce again, and managed to expand their lair enough to add more dragons. Unfortunately, the time of peace didn't last long, as Makeisha announced her intention to retire soon, and appointed one of her younger sons, Percy, to take her place, a move contested by many supporters of Moradii.

THE VINE AGE

The Vine age saw the clan sink into hunger once more, only this time, dragons died. The grief and emptiness was only alleviated for short spells. During this time, dragons who died were exalted, so as to give them new life and to bring a little bit of extra cash. This period of hunger devastated most of the clan.

THE ROSE AGE

While still in its fragile, yet recovering state, the clan took in six dragons- two of them hatchlings- after a massive fire destroyed their small clan and killed their founders. Makeisha officially stepped down as leader, and Percy and his mate, Storm, became the second leaders of Forest Valley.

THE OAK AGE

Soon after Percy and Storm took over from Makeisha and Skyfire, they had a brand new nest of dragons to succeed them as leader after Rain decided he never wanted to be in charge. Moradii, still bitter about being passed over for leader, silently began planning his revolution with the help of his nestmate, Cotaly. People who sympathized with Moradii began to join the secret overtaking, and symbolized it by wearing Mage's Thicket Socks. It started small, but grew with surprising momentum. The uprising would begin in a month or less.

THE BRAMBLE AGE

As the clan sank into another period of hunger, Moradii and his followers became more and more unhappy. After a follower of Moradii succumbed to starvation, the postponed revolution began to kick into full swing. Slowly, dragons came out of the woodwork, tricking others onto their side. Percy and Storm, dimly aware of the plan thanks to their informant, Peter, were still caught off guard when Moradii suddenly seized power and took over as leader. He attempted to remain peaceful at first, but the unwillingness to agree put forth by many dragons began to stifle him, and new precautions were made.

hey, @spiralingcosmos I'm willing to buy dragons. f you have any you don't want, message me and we can set up a price! I'm looking for more variety in my den so dragons like Faes, Nocturnes, Imperials, and Mirrors would be great.
