Biography

~From the desk of Chickweed Caraway~

Phrygia / Clan Duskwing
═══════════════════════
My Location:
I believe I’m still in the Windswept Plateau, though I’m not sure. There are few windows in this lair. However, based on the sea salt I smell from time to time, I’d wager I’m near the Starfall Isles.

White King

Crimes:
I’m sure that this dragon is engaging in treasure forgery, but I lack evidence.

Tallow Candle

Questions:
Phrygia and Chiron seem to be related, but I’m not sure how. Also, why would Phrygia agree to house me in the first place? Perhaps I need to ask more questions about the Clans on the Starfall Isles.

NOTES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

When Chiron told me that I’d be staying with a real witch, I thought I’d be living in the lap of luxury. Instead, Phrygia has proven to be absent host. He left a frustratingly uncommunicative Fae to take care of me, but she can’t cook, and the guest room is decorated horribly.

The only thing Phrygia has given me since my arrival were the instructions not leave the premise and to never enter the basement. Naturally, I’m going to do both.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Update: I’ve tried exploring Phrygia’s lair, but I’ve found my movements to be severely restricted. His staff members watch me closely, especially that horrible Bogsneak who started following me around after he caught me trying to pick a lock. There must be a way avoid them, but so far, they’ve been too persistent.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Update: Phrygia’s staff are proving to me more frustrating then I thought.

This is partially tiresome because I know that Phrygia’s up to something. The puzzle pieces aren't quite aligning. There's an odd smell that drifts through the lair every so often and I suspect that he might be forging gold, and and I'm starting to suspect that he might be hosting another guest.

I’ve tried probing his staff for answers, but each time, my wine becomes incredibly strong and I wake up the next morning with fuzzy memories.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Update: Yesterday, I managed to both succeed and fail in a spectacular fashion.

The staff seemed distracted by something and kept whispering to each other when they thought I was reading a book or whatnot. I seized the opportunity and slipped down the steps into the basement which was miraculously unlocked at the time. I didn’t see much more than a stone hallway and flicker of purple from the corner of my eye before something hard hit me in the back of the head. I woke up this morning to a terrible headache and a very angry Phrygia.

He informed me that I was no longer welcome in his lair and that Chiron would be here within the week to take me elsewhere.

It’s a shame, really. With the right information and a well placed letter, I could have controlled Phrygia and his stupid witch business, but the opportunity is lost until I find some solid evidence of his forgery.

Still, I’m not too put out about moving on. I won’t miss Phrygia or the horrible wallpaper in the guest bedroom. He really needs to hire an interior decorator.

Exalting Phrygia to the service of the Tidelord will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
