Biography

LEROPE
The disgruntled.

Grim Healer's Reference
Darksteel Halfmoon Spectacles
Plague dragons were, by nature, rabidly self-concerned and champions of good health.

A paradox if Lerope had ever heard one. But the more he wandered the Wasteland, the more he saw and realised that the benefit of the self could be derived from the benefit of the collective.

Vaccinations to protect and build immune systems against the rampaging diseases that choked the land were administered with ruthless efficiency, and the Plague Flight contributed much to medicine through their obsession with sickness. Mother Plague churned her sickly cauldron not with the intent to kill, but with the intent to let her children grow strong through suffering - adaptable bodies that could withstand strains of viruses and their ravaging side effects were sure to have an element of hardiness that you would be hard-pressed to find in the other Flights.

Beneath the facade of the Plague flight was something hard to believe, yet there all the same

(But then again, so was the Nature Flight, and Lerope had never heard anyone give them flack. Mother Nature was terrifying when you sat down to think about it.)

He found this endlessly fascinating and felt drawn to this strange contradictory concept of helping others to help yourself. So Lerope turned his steady hands and sensitive nose to doctor work. It was a given that the genetic memory of his kind presented a natural challenge, but he applied himself to his studies with the same fervour with which the Plague Mother stirred her virulent solution, and qualified the exam with flying colours.

Now he offered his services within the town of Port Daring, where clients flitted in and out of his clinic and coin steadily filled his coffers. A serene, if sometimes eventful living.

Or at least that was what he would have liked.
