______ Marcel, he likes to call himself. No one is quite sure how this bird found its way so far underground...

______ Further examination reveals that Marcel isn't actually a bird, but a Coatl that spends his time shifted into various bird formes through the use of powerful magic. His true forme is revealed when he takes damage. Why he does this? We just don't know. Marcel himself tends to go unnoticed in dragon forme anyway.

Marcel resembles a barn owl. As such, he has a larger, flatter face and silent flight, as well as large wings.

It is unknown why he prefers to disguise as a regular bird. Perhaps he is embarrassed by his appearance?

His plumage is rather translucent, making his presence easy to miss.

Marcel means 'belonging to Mars.' He has a tie to the planet.

He loves shiny things, gemstones in particular.
