Embell [Director of the Floating Floes Sanctuary, and protege of the previous Director, Felicity] wants it to be known that, if it was up to her, she would leave these ancient creatures untouched for the rest of eternity. However, she has received a direct request from the Arcanist [The Eleventh Child, Lord of the Starfall Isles, Master of the Observatory, and Supreme Head of this entire operation] to continue the late Felicity's efforts in documenting these strange beings.

  • One of the few survivors of a large-scale disaster at the previous housing facility. Carries the burdens of the lost with her, and strives to make sure that such a thing doesn't happen again.
  • The gem she carries around her neck is filled with a dark, opaque liquid. She keeps its identity a secret from even her closest advisors.
  • Carries herbal potions with her at all times. The majority of them are to help with the many stress-induced ailments she has, though there are a couple of unidentifiable ones, too.
