STORY ★

A mage who once studied alongside Iri, whom he had feelings for, at the Raa Shak Academy for the Arcane Arts. Much like his partner he took to darker forms of magic. While Iri began the mastery of Mysticism and Necromancy, Di began the practice of Destruction magic- specifically life draining and blood magic. Despite their instructors attempts to dissuade the pair from their studies, their skills came in handy when war broke out between Q'edan and a neighboring nation. As then young adults, the two, along with many other mages, were quickly sent by the Court to the front lines to put their destructive skills to use.

Long and bloody, the war awakened a thirst for power within Diamant, who discovered a thrill in taking the lives of others. The need for power quickly consumed him and soon he began practicing blood magic in secret, hoping it would increase his physical power. Although his magic was undoubtedly useful in the war, the use of blood magic did not go unnoticed by his fellow mages for long, and soon after the war came to an end Diamant was charged for war crimes- his actions being described as "ungodly" and "unethical for use even on enemies of the nation." Unfortunately, the charges never landed as one morning the guards found Diamant missing without a trace from his cell.

Not long after his escape he set up camp in one of the many ruins in the Hýminvídd Desert, where he proceeded to hold experiment after experiment. Obsessed with becoming the most powerful mage in existence, he kidnapped mages both old and young and used his draining skills to steal their life and energy.

Despite the Court and authorities being aware of his existence, no man could get close enough to the mage to stop his crimes and over time his reputation grew to have a cult-like following. Although the majority of the population feared the power-hungry mage, certain groups began to worship him, and even tried to appease him by sacrificing other mages. And although his power grand and his following fervent, few outside his cult actually thought it possible for him to ascend to godhood. If ever there was someone to find a way though, it was Diamant, and oh did he ever find a way.

ADDITIONAL ★

> Has the ability to travel back and forth between the God's realm and mortal world.

> A ruthless megalomaniac. Even among the other Gods he believes himself to be one of the strongest, completely overlooking the fact that they merely tolerate his presence.

> A true Dark God. After his ascension he gained domain over destruction, murder and blood sacrifices.

> Through everything, Diamant has held onto the past and continues to have feelings for Iri- albeit in an extremely unhealthy way. Sometimes he visits the other mage just to unnerve him, and revels in knowing that for once in their lives he holds power over the Necromancer.

RELATIONS ★
__ 38723813.png
Iri • obsession

Once schoolmates and lovers. Never able to let go of the past, he is the one thing in this world that Diamant obsesses over as much as his own power. The feeling is not mutual.

42866100.png
Rhistlyn • mutual annoyance

The God he least gets along with. Once upon a time, Diamant worshipped him for his gifts of dark magic. Now, he can't stand the other God. Something about Rhistlyn disliking those who abuse his gifts- or whatever.
