Ulliam

Ulliam was born of a brief union between clans and disdained by both his mother and his father. However, Lethe still brought him and his brother, Phelan, back to the clan, where they were warmly accepted.

Their mother's disdain soon got to his brother, who decided to leave to serve the Arcanist not long after reaching maturity, despite the rest of the clan's warmth. Ulliam wasn't quite as bothered by this, feeling detached from his mother, brother and the whole clan and not really worrying about making friends.

Ulliam remained detached from the clan, with an aloofness only the most icy of dragons can achieve. However, every now and then he did thaw out enough to consent to nesting with a female dragon. In between those times, the only companion he used to permit close was Sköll... the sköll.

Since the Flameforger's Fesival, Ulliam has often been accompanied by a fae turned skydancer, Eithne, and her sunspot clouddancer. At the time, he never seemed particularly happy by her company and had a constant air of resignation about him.

However, Eithne's persistance paid off. Ulliam finally consented to nest with her, on the condition it was in the icy floes of his homeland, in an attempt to curtail their future offspring becoming as ovebearing as she could sometimes be. Eithne happily agreed and the two returned to Clan Kaitos with four icy little hatchlings in tow.

Ulliam is now almost a changed dragon, at least when his daughter, Kiara, is around. He makes an effort to speak to other dragons and appear interested when they speak to him, as well as take part in their various activities. However, it is clear to the whole clan that he is at his happiest when he is alone with Eithne and Kiara.

Recently, Ulliam has lost his closest companion, Sköll, to a coatl. He is unable to find out why this is, and has tried many times to replace him, feeling at a loss for the first time in his life. His made friends with Murda, the sundial imposter, but their bond was tenuous at best, and eventually they went their separate ways. Instead, Ulliam has tried to make friends with Karr, the mimic buttersnake, and their bond seems somewhat stronger. Thankfully he has Eithne and Kiara to see him through.
