 Wandering trough nearly unchanging, dry lands. Trough deep canyons and along the edges of burning deserts. The ever same routes. The ever same turns. One step after the other, passing by the smaller routes to graveyards that contain bones from ancestors long gone. Hearing the ever same stories...
With a shudder and a yank, Cometa tore her thoughts away from what the other dragons here would call a nightmare. Yes, that was traditional for snappers, for earthborn snappers ever more, but she was - different.
She was still wandering, sure, and not needing to sleep made the distances she could cover quite amazing for an earthbound creature. But still. After that Imperial had found her and her clan, her family, and followed for a while to listen to the elders, he had started to tell his storie. About green lands. Trees and rivers. Lakes and waterfalls. Dragons, always at home in the same place, but still travelling quite a bit of the surrounding land. That was when she decided to try and go there.
Finding a way on her own hadn't been all that easy - she was grown, after all, and wouldn´t allow the giant Imperial to carry her. It had been the adventure of her life. And now, she walks patrols when she feels like it, or just strolls around the hatchery to talk with Tessie, the only other earthborn dragon here. And as she´s quite a bit calmer, knows more history of Dragonhome and the Earthshaker, Tessie has offered her to be speaker for earth - every once in a while, when the Circle of Eleven Voices meets to decide important matters for the future of the clan.
