Biography
Xerophor has been a talented Singer in his youth. As coatl speak their own, humming native tongue, singing came natural to him. At first he didn´t realize, partly because he was too young, but plants and other, smaller, living beings started withering and mutating, showing more and distinct signs of rot and decay, just as plaguebringer wants to see it. But something, somehow, was wrong. The young Coatl didn´t embrace what he could do. He learned about his gift, how to use it to greatest extent, even afflicting dragons with the Rot to bring them closer to Plaguemother. But he never liked it. As soon as he was grown, he left the lands of Plaguebringer to find a place to live - not noticing how much he himself had changed through the use of his gift. Other dragons perceive him as dark, dangerous and someone to closely watch or chase far, far away. It was in the lands of Gladekeeper that he found a Clan willing to let him stay - under supervision, but still. Xerophor doesn´t sing any more, nor does he speak his native language. His speechpattern is almost as flat as that of a fae, and it hurts him deep within to do that. But showing emotions, expressing himself in humms and songs, will rise his dark power, and he will loose his new home again. The only connection to home and his past he allows to show is his knowledge, and so he serves the clan as speaker for Plague, whenever this voice is needed in the Council. |

Callahad, as this Goblin calls himself, has been following Xerophor since he learned to use his singing gift on dragons. Being close to Plaguebringer himself, the goblin was immune to this powerful source of the Rot. But he enjoyed watching and studying this specific Coatl, informing Plaguebringer about every success the young dragon had. And as the dragon started to wander the lands of the Contagion, Callahad followed. He still does, even if he is very, very worried... Going into the heartlands of Gladekeeper is either very brave, or very stupid. But Callahad still hopes that one day, Xerophor will burst into song and possibly contaminate this whole clan, this land, and maybe even the Behemoth... And for nothing in the world would Callahad want to miss that! |
